Jamie is very insightful about her industry and she is the person you want in your corner when making one of the biggest decisions for your family. We highly recommend Jamie as a real estate agent. At our first meeting with Jamie, she walked us through the home buying process and listened to our criteria for a new home. My husband and I were first-time home buyers and everything was new for us. Based on our constraints and requirements, Jamie set realistic expectations for us, which gave us a good understanding of the trade-offs we would be facing. We visited homes on several occasions with Jamie. She helped us discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each home. We never felt pressured to make an offer on a home. She really wanted us to get the house we wanted. We were on the fence with several homes and Jamie helped us delve through our concerns and understand better what our options were. Jamie was instrumental in helping us to decide what offers we should make for the homes we were interested in. She also spoke directly with the selling party in order to help us make a stronger bid. She communicated well with us and the other parties. The shelter-in-place restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic occurred in the middle of our closing process. She was well informed about City and County restrictions that may have had or did have an effect on our closing and she kept us in the loop. After closing on the house, Jamie’s recommendations for moving-related logistics were very handy, especially since we were moving during the shelter-in-place period. The store we had ordered our fridge from informed us they would only do curbside delivery. This was problematic since our 300-lb fridge needed to be moved to the second floor of our home. Jamie had a few helpful suggestions to get us out of that bind. Throughout the entire process, Jamie listened to our priorities, communicated well with us, helped us understand our options, and advocated for us. We are very happy with our new home purchase. We searched from the Peninsula to the South Bay, and when we decided where we wanted to search, we were directed to Jamie and it was the best decision. She was always honest and never once made it feel like she was rushing it. Even when we were getting discouraged, she continued to work hard to make sure we were getting the right home. "We met Jamie at one of the house listings she was representing. She inquired if we were working with an agent and offered to help otherwise. Being a first-time home buyer, she introduced us to the basic terms of real estate and gave us an overview of the whole process. We were amazed that we could learn so much in the first meeting itself. We found her very organized as well. Next, she offered us a tour of a few types of houses based on our requirements to understand better what we were looking for. It took us the whole afternoon and we appreciated the time she took out for us. From then on she set us up with a search list with our preferences with automated emails and notifications. We worked as a team and helped each other find new listings. She showed us numerous houses and spent as much time as we needed in every house. In many cases, we ended up visiting houses after hours and spent a considerable amount of time discussing them late in the evenings. She never pushed us into a decision and was always patient. Finally, when we found the house we liked, she helped us negotiate by compiling data on recent sales in the neighborhood. She helped us go through inspection reports and identify any major issues. She also helped us find a good lender who was willing to work expediently to close on time. Even after the sale, she helped us connect with contractors to get some work done. She was always available and prompt in answering any questions we had. This helped us instill a lot of confidence in ourselves. She was patient and diligent in her work.
