So many favored dining destinations make up the downtown area. The Shout! House is a fun piano bar that keeps the crowd lively with sing-alongs. Though walk-ins are sometimes accepted, a reservation is usually necessary at this favored spot.
Born & Raised is the place to go for high-end steaks and cocktails. This glitzy, modern restaurant has a rooftop patio that allows you to enjoy your meal under the gorgeous California sky. Of course, you can also choose to dine indoors if you prefer. You're encouraged to reserve a table.
If you have a taste for Greek cuisine, then Meze Greek Fusion will delight your taste buds. This luxe restaurant and bar focuses on small plates and cocktails. Lumi is a popular Japanese solution. Sushi and seafood take precedence, but you can also find many other meat dishes as well as special sake drinks.
The Headquarters at Seaport and Seaport Village are two excellent shopping centers in the area that gives you ample opportunity to find the fashion, home goods, and more you're looking for. Multiple stores and eateries make up the vicinity of these open-air solutions. Seaport Village is closest to the water and features fountains and ponds to give you a tranquil experience while you shop.

Things To Do

You'll find plenty of things to do to occupy your time in the downtown neighborhoods. Waterfront Park is one of the best-rated park choices in the area. The spray fountains are especially popular on hot days. Picnic areas and gardens are also present here, along with a historical landmark building at the center.
Petco Park is another popular choice when you want to enjoy outdoor recreation. It's the home to seasonal sporting events and outdoor concerts. The venue opened in 2004 and has become a favorite of many in San Diego. House of Blues is a favored live music venue nearby. Get your tickets in advance, and don't miss out on upcoming events. There is also a restaurant and bar on-site that many enjoy thanks to the Southern-inspired food choices, a wide selection of beer, wine, and cocktails, and live performances you can enjoy while you dine and drink.
You don't want to miss San Diego's Comic Con. It's one of the top attractions each year that it takes place. Due to its popularity, a Comic-Con Museum was erected with inspired exhibits.
